What happened? Why the name change?
Since September 2017 Pick34.com ended the era of download software. For multiple reasons, such as the various platforms people use and the limitations of programming features to just name a few. The software is still available for online use as part of the P34SUG.com membership.
 All new development is web-based meaning you can access the online tools, systems etc. on the P34SUG.com and Pick34.com web sites. With that the features are completely platform independent and can be accessed from every device with an internet functionality.
This also impacted the Number Combination Slasher as a tool. Due to the limitations no improvements could be implemented and the life cycle of the tool ended.
 Instead a completely new tool had to created to provide the existing features and - more importantly - to allow new features that will make the tool more flexible and usable now and in the future.
This tool is the New Online Slasher or NOSpx.
The PX stands for the ability of the tool to deal with not only the Pick 3 and Pick 4 but also Pick 2 and Pick 5 lotteries at the same time.
Here some of the features the NOSpx tool offers compared to the old NCS ...

• | page-based output rather than output in a field

• | built-in table output function

• | online manual with examples and support

• | automatic download of draw results into your templates

• | storing and loading up to 50 of your templates
|
The command structure was kept as close as possible to the old NCS. Due to some new functionality there are far more options and filters available; e.g. the use of wildcard "*" in selections has been added, the number of filters has increased drastically, the use of personal filters can be implemented.
